I may be loud and a little rowdy too.

I’m not scared to speak my mind and act a little like a fool.

I like to laugh and smile a lot,

That’s just ‘cause I always have such positive thoughts.

Behind everything, there’s always a little truth.

The little girl who’s insecure, trust me, I’m not bullet proof.

I don’t wear dresses or those type of high heels.

I don’t drown my self in make up or wear bright as teal.

I like to watch foot ball and shoot pool all night.

I like to talk about cars and look at the city lights.

I may not have many girl friends or do girlie things.

I may not be pretty like those girls in magazines.

But at least I know I’m real,

Real as some can be.

All day long I’m surrounded by guys,

Those guys I call my brothers, my homie for life.

I can’t be perfect and have those princess things,

I can’t be that type of girl

Those girls nigguhs always feen.

But one thing for sure is I can be me,

That fun person who always wants to be wild and free.

I’m down to smoke and drink all night,

I’m down to party with all my might.

I may be insecure about many little things,

But I will never give up on myself,

The person my parents raised me to be.

Forever independent and that strong little girl,

Forever myself, trust me, its me against the world.
